MODU

MODU is a furniture system built around a simple relationship between a steel frame and wooden modules. The same elements form side tables, shelving, a media cabinet or a workspace. Open compartments and handles keep the system approachable, allowing different arrangements to share one construction language.

Process

Developed with Enzo Vidotti at Cage Studio, the project connects industrial design with direct fabrication. Steel frames were fabricated and welded in the studio, then combined with pine modules. The resulting system was recognised at Bom Design Sul and selected as a Salão Design finalist.
